Genworth has both Internship and Development Programs designed to help early career associates launch a successful career. All of Genworth’s development programs and internships provide the opportunity for training and development, community involvement, continuous feedback and mentoring.

Internship Program
The Genworth Summer Internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to obtain a challenging work experience. During the 12-week paid internship, interns take part in training, networking and community service activities in addition to working with Genworth leaders on their summer projects. Successful interns will have the opportunity to interview at the end of the summer for a full-time position in the Early Career Development Program. Learn more about the internship program.

Early Career Development Programs 
Genworth Financial’s Early Career Development Programs are designed for college graduates with less than three years of professional work experience. The programs focus on building the core business and technical skills needed to create the foundation for a successful career. They include four six-month rotations as well as technical and professional training. Each rotation provides experience and exposure to areas within the program function.
If you are looking to build depth in an accelerated learning program that can result in stronger technical capabilities then we have the program for you! 

Actuarial Leadership Development Program
The program offers rotational assignments in Modeling, Product Development, Valuation and Analysis. Program members are required to sit for a SOA exam every six months while on program. 

Finance Development Program
The program provides a learning environment that strives to create well-rounded finance professionals with an emphasis on financial, accounting and process skills training. It includes rotational assignments in Controllership, Business Planning and Analysis, Investment Accounting and Auditing. Program members go through a training curriculum consisting of graded coursework, non graded classroom training and self study.  

Information Technology Development Program
The program is uniquely suited for highly energized people with strong technical and analytical skills, and sharp business acumen. It focuses on application development, infrastructure services, project delivery and many other technology components. Program members go through two intense month-long IT boot camps.
